The world needs your Light right now

ABRAHAM:

Your natural state is that of Well-Being.

The only opinion, in all of the Universe, that is of true importance to you, is your own. And your own opinion of you, affects the entire Universe.

The creative life force, or energy of the Universe, flows through you and literally connects you to All-That-Is. Through your attention, or focus of thought, you draw the specifics unto you.

Example of Living Joyously

JERRY: I was lying on the beach today, or on a rock at the beach at the La Jolla Cove, and just in total ecstasy. Every breath was bringing in fragrances from the ocean and the seaweed, and all. It almost lifted me off the rock. And the sun touching my body was so spectacular and the breeze over my body, I just let it flow to no thoughts, only those marvelous, marvelous feelings. And then I thought, "Gee, I guess a person could stay here forever and do this." And then I thought... "But then I'm not doing any good." And then I thought... "Abraham, said that we're doing good by example more than we are by words." And then I thought... "Boy, being happy as I am, must be the best example." Then then I said... "But nobody knows I'm happy, 'cause I'm here by myself."

[And on the rock Jerry thought about when he was a child and he decided he wanted to do work for God. He talked about going from church to church and not finding out what was God's work. And he decided maybe he could be an uplifter and help people feel better about themselves.]

But then I come back to you, and you say that we really don't have to do any work, that just to be joyous and happy is doing enough work for all of the ...all beings in the Universe. Would you clarify that little moment of confusion I had on the rock today?

ABRAHAM: You are a physical being, looking through physical eyes, still thinking that 'doing' is what makes the difference. Still believing that it is through your action that you accomplish, or offer, while we continue to want to guide you to the understanding that is through your thought and corresponding feeling that you create, you see....

...ACTION IS THE WAY YOU ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE MADE MANIFEST THROUGH YOUR THOUGHT....

As you think, you feel. Always. And as you feel, you ooze. You know that.... If you are mad at your child and you are still saying sweet words, your child still knows he's in trouble. All of you are receiving on levels far beyond your language. And so, as you think, you feel. As you feel, you radiate or influence, and that is what is making the difference. That is why when you lay on the rock and bask in the glory of beingness, oozing that fantastic positive Energy, you are uplifting All-That-Is. Everyone who seeks it, now has access to that which you are feeling....

Abraham quotes are from A New Beginning II by Jerry and Esther Hicks, p. 145, p. 154, p. 156 and pp. 218-220.

When I said the world needs your Light right now, I wanted to let you know how valuable your appreciation, your joy, and your happiness are. In big waves or brief, gentle moments, appreciation not only feels good to you, but it is extending Well-Being into the physical world and we all benefit. It is enough to feel good, but in addition, Abraham tells us the inspiration from those good feelings will inspire us to action that is even more pleasurable.

Thank you for the loving, Light that you are.

Abraham-Hicks: Breaking free from addiction, 12 steps

I just listened to a couple of sections of the Beyond the 12 Steps DVD. Abraham is pointing out that addiction to substances are an attempt to regain control of our experience, when our true empowerment comes from realizing that we have the power to change our thoughts and feel better.

There were some soothing thoughts that I liked and wanted to share. Abraham describes what they would say to someone who was addicted and wanted to break free.

The first thing we would say to them is, you have greater control of your life than you know, but it’s all right if you don’t know it right now.

That seems like the perfect stance for any situation in which we feel overwhelmed or can't find the better feeling thoughts. I also liked the thought that the addiction is the desire to feel better in a world where the person doesn't feel in control.

If you could separate your body from this substance for as short as three days, the cellular calling would cease. No matter what it is, the cellular calling would cease. But we don’t think it’s the cellular craving that is at the heart of these addictions. It’s the vibrational imbalance and the insatiable desire to feel better in a world that you can’t find a way of feeling better because it feels like it’s in control of you. So you have to come back into your personal power, before, before you have control of what’s happening in your experience....

Do you know that when we address an audience like this it is very common to find these students and teachers of Abraham to also be in the classification of addicted to some sort of drug or alcohol. And the reason is that you came forth with such intensity of wanting to uplift. The knowing within you of who you really are is vibrating so powerfully within you that when something in your society or in your family or up close to you caused you to see life or see yourself as different than who you really are because your stream was flowing so powerfully you took it really, really hard. In other words, you’re sensitive and it’s painful and then you want to do something to mute the pain.

Abraham-Hicks, Beyond the 12 Steps: Breaking Free of Addiction DVD

There are as many paths to empowerment and alignment as there are people. Appreciation and loving self are lovely paths.

We wish every moment of your experience to be joyful like it is for us. We want you to look around your world and not worry, but to revel in its beauty. We want you to look around your own life and not worry, but to revel, in its magnificence. We want you to look at your own body and not nitpick about a wrinkle or an extra pound, or 20 or 30 or 40.

We want you to look at yourself and adore yourself. If you will make this small effort to appreciate you and what is yours now, you will soften, so quickly, any resistance that has been keeping you apart from the things you want. It is the magic formula that you’ve been looking for. It is the key to your blending. It is the key to your allowing. It is the key to you getting what you want. It is the key to your abundance, your clarity, and to your stamina. It is the key to your energy. It is the key to your vitality. It is the key to your flexibility. It is the key to your wellness. It is the key to all things that feel good to you.

Make some small effort, every chance you get, at looking at where you stand now and doing your best to soothe and appreciate you now, to soothe and appreciate your Now.

Wednesdays with Abraham: Just love and appreciate, and then turn that love towards yourself

Aphrodite's rose by alicepopkorn

I Can Always Enter My Vibrational Vortex of Creation... The key to getting inside your Vibrational Vortex of Creation; of experiencing the absolute absence of resistance; of achieving complete alignment with all that you have become and all that you desire, and of bringing to your physical experience everything that you desire - is being in the state of appreciation - and there is no more important object of attention to which you must flow your appreciation than that of self.

Abraham-Hicks, Excerpted from from Abraham's newest book, The Vortex Where the Law of Attraction Assembles All Cooperative Relationships.

We've gotta tell you. Source within you adores you SOOOOO much, that when you think a thought that is other than that, you go right out of range of Source. Source never stops feeling it about you. But you vibrate yourself right out of range.

Then you say, "I feel unworthy!"

We say, "That's ridiculous! Just vibrate yourself back into range. Just vibrate back into range."

You say, "How do I do that when I am so terrible?"

Stop saying that, for one thing! Stop beating the drum of it for another. Start looking for evidence of some wellbeing or goodness within you. It might be buried deeply, but it IS in there!

Look for it!
Look for it!
Look for it!
Look for it!

When you look for it, you always find it, until before you know it, you feel like you are. [worthy]

Esther noticed it right from the beginning. She would bring herself into alignment with Abraham through meditation. And then through the years, she could easily get into alignment just in anticipation of a gathering like this. Even in the early days, she would notice that, when she walked off the stage and looked in the mirror back in her sleeping room, that as she was fresh from the full blown vibration of Abraham, she looked beautiful and lovely and there was a sense of adoring self she was not used to seeing.

Because for years, when she looked in the mirror, she didn't like that and she didn't like that and she felt bad about that and guilty about that...

You trained yourself to stop loving yourself. But when you see ANYTHING through the eyes of Source, you train yourself back into alignment.

Abraham-Hicks, Asheville, NC, May 29, 2009

Most of you have been hard on yourselves for a long time.

It doesn't matter who the object of your attention is when you are loving. When you love, you are in the vortex.

So find a child and love them, and in the vortex you'll go. Find a dog and love him, and into the vortex you'll go. Find a flower and appreciate it, and into the vortex you'll go.

And once you have shown yourself what a lover you can be, then you can begin turning that lens of love toward yourself.

Wednesdays with Abraham: A little magic and a whooole lotta kissin' goin' on

summer is dancing by alicepopkorn

We're asking you to trust in the Well-being. In optimism there is magic. In pessimism there is nothing. In positive expectation there is thrill and success. In pessimism or awareness of what is not wanted, there is nothing. What you're wanting to do is redefine your relationship with the Stream. We do not ask you to look at something that is black and call it white. We do not ask you to see something that is not as you want it to be and pretend that it is. What we ask you to do is practice moving your gaze. Practice changing your perspective. Practice talking to different people. Practice going to new places. Practice sifting through the data for the things that feel like you want to feel and using those things to cause you to feel a familiar place. In other words, we want you to feel familiar in your joy. Familiar in your positive expectation, familiar in your knowing that all is well, because this Universe will knock itself out giving you evidence of that Well-being once you find that place. We have enjoyed this interaction immensely. There is great love here for you. We are complete.

Abraham-Hicks, San Rafael, CA, March 4, 1998

You are an extension of Source Energy. You are one who loves, and you are one who loves to think, and you are one who loves to create, and you are one who loves to contemplate. You’re one who enjoys stimulation of thought. You’re one who enjoys choosing; you enjoy considering; you enjoy pondering; you enjoy fashioning. You enjoy putting things together. You enjoy figuring things out. You enjoy knowing. You enjoy not being sure and then becoming more sure. You enjoy the evolution of a thought. You enjoy the expansion of an idea. You enjoy the expansion of life experience. You enjoy the pleasure of being this genius focused in the most creative environment that has ever existed, for the fulfillment of things that satisfy you.

You are liquid love in physical bodies, wanting, more than life itself, because it is life itself, to adore the vessel that’s you through which this Source Energy flows. You are God. You are Source. You are creator.

You always feel good from your Source Energy perspective.

You don’t feel regret; you don’t feel doubt; you don’t feel worry; you don’t feel shame; you don’t feel guilt; you don’t feel anger; you don’t feel hate… You feel joy; you feel appreciation; you feel worthiness; you feel eagerness; you feel passion.

You feel like the little kids feel—watch them: they’re sure; they’re arrogant; they’re not afraid. You say, “They’re not smart enough to be afraid.” We say, they are still smart—and not afraid. You say, “But they don’t know enough to worry.” And we say, they know everything—and they do not worry. The children are still more vibrationally imbued with that feeling of passion and joy—and that is what this work is about. It’s to assist you in returning to the natural state of Well-being—the natural state of being that is really You.

Abraham-Hicks, San Rafael, CA, February 21, 2004

...We are right back to what we are talking about earlier, you have to selfishly daydream. When you were children, oh you daydreamed so easily, you went to those places so easily, and you took such pleasure from them. And it was hard for physical people around you to get you back from that, you naturally went there! And why did you go? Did you go to get work done? Did you go to fix things that were broken? You went because it was the most natural, pleasurable thing for you to do, for you to exercise your creative mind in those ways you see. And that's what the work still is, exercising your creative mind. But your personal pleasure must still be the reason, not to make a business, not to fix something that is broken, you must visualize for your personal selfish pleasure. And that’s a whole other workshop isn't it? Being selfish enough to do anything for your pleasure....

Abraham-Hicks, February 3, 2001

[A woman asked if her grandfather kissed her cheek when he passed away, as it seemed he did. "Is this correct?" she asked.]

Abe: It is. The most significant thing is that you were in a place of allowing yourself the translation of the energy that was that. And it doesn't have to happen just at the time of transition, angels are kissing you all over the place all the time!

In other words, you are getting all kinds of nudges and pats on the back and expressions of encouragement and feelings of pride and soothing in times that you are wanting soothing. Those nonphysical energies are fully aware of you. The question is, are you letting it in.

And as you say, oh that’s silly, that could not possibly have been. The wind must have blown my hair across my face…. And we say, so be it. Let it be whatever you are wanting it to be. But there’s a whooole lotta kissin’ going on!

I realize my world really is a reflection of myself

Water Nymph by jurvetson

As a deliberate creator I accept intellectually that I create my world through my thoughts. Really understanding it is a different matter. I seem to always be experiencing changes to my perspective and realizing something new about deliberate creating and how I view reality.

I woke up this morning in the midst of a conversation with non-physical Guidance. During the conversation I really understood on a gut level that my world is a reflection of myself and if I see lack in the world in any way, it is only because I see a lack in myself.

Wowzah.

It's not that there is a lack of money. It's that I see some lack in myself and it expresses as money. Or relationships. Or anything that I perceive as a lack.

I have to laugh because I've come to this realization so many times over the years: the best we can do is just to love and accept ourselves. It's a matter of detaching my old way of thinking which has been some version of job = money = pay bills and changing it to: love self and dream = alignment with Well-Being = delicious manifestation. And it happens day by day as my understanding grows.

As I was writing this I realized that if I see beauty in my world, it is beauty within me. How literally is the world a reflection of me? Am I a beautiful sunset? A hawk soaring in a cloudless sky?

The adventure is within. The path is to listen to my feelings and follow the good ones -- they are Love itself calling me. This physical life is mine to co-create by sending out my desires, to enjoy manifestations and to come to peace with who I am in this experience.

The process is like hard layers and patterns keep dissolving into more flowing, free forms of thinking. And when I think about it, it's as if my thinking is becoming more like my non-physical self than the physical world I see around me.

I see intriguing possibilities of more magic yet to come.

Something sweet for you from Abraham-Hicks

Happy Easter! by Butterfly Sha

While I can't hand you a basket filled with jelly beans and chocolate Easter eggs to take home, I can offer you a sweet treat from darling Abraham:

Take the worthiness that is yours, and let the "Fairies of the Universe" assist you. Stop taking so much responsibility upon yourself, and live happily ever after. Shorten that crevasse between where you are and where you want to be, on every subject, to now, now, now, now, now. Ride the wave. Just pluck the fruit... You don't have to be the one who puts it in the ground any more. You can just skip across the top of things and pluck the fruit of all of the things you want. "Oh, fruit. Oh, delicious this, delicious this, delicious this, delicious this." In other words, it's all right there for you....

Abraham-Hicks, Boston, MA, May 21, 2005

You are all connected to Source energy and well-being is what is natural to you. And as you come to expect that things will always turn out right, then things will always turn out right....

So look into the mirror, look into your eyes and say, "Inner Being, are you in there?" Your Inner Being is in there. And then say, "So what do you think about me? What do you think?" And your Inner Being will look back at you with love so deep and so sure that maybe you'll hear. Your Inner Being adores you. Your Inner Being knows your value. Your Inner Being is YOU.... What we're saying is, "Accept you and love you and accept that all is well with you and watch the benefits that will come to you from that."

Abraham-Hicks on desires and loving self leading to my reflections on decluttering

Letting go, rearranging, changing: it's happening with my thoughts, beliefs, and behavior as well as in my home and projects I work on using my computer. I must admit I love decluttering. I like getting rid of the old stale energy of things I no longer need and finding things I put away that I enjoy getting out and using. I love the feeling of freedom and relief of letting go of outmoded stifling beliefs most of all.

I have a folder full of Abe quotes I've saved and am working with a long term project putting them in separate folders like contrast, appreciation, Inner Being, etc., so they'll be easier to find. I read a few each day to transfer them to the right spot and it is such a perfect thing to do right now. I've been working with Abe's information for about five years and I'm deep in a state of transition where I'm feeling the intimacy of how I create relationships and everything in my life. I can feel how it is all me -- not them -- me! My old ways of being with others is on the way out and my new perspective is emerging -- in old family relationships and everywhere.

I feel all over the emotional map sometimes and I can see a reflection in the way people seem to be right now about the changes happening in our economy and world. When I read Abe I feel in balance and always find a message that speaks right to the heart of my desire to feel better.

I just ran across a quote that I enjoyed and wanted to share with you. It fits with the ones I picked to post yesterday. When I am in the midst of negative emotions the information is much more powerful to me than when I'm just reading it. I appreciate this reminder from Abe that I am summoning the energy of my desires every moment and all I have to do is enjoy it -- and the quickest way to enjoy it is to appreciate and love my self.

You know, I think this decluttering has to do with letting go of things that weren't loving to my self. It's clearly that way with letting go of limiting beliefs, but I think also with "things." For example, something I am keeping because "I might need it some day" instead of trusting that I am always provided for and I can source whatever I need at the time. The decluttering process is from the desire for freedom and another step in trusting that all is well.

I moved into a good place reading Abe this morning. May you float gently on the stream of Well-Being today:

What is a desire? A desire is a natural product of living in a diverse environment. Desires are born naturally within you. And when the desire is born, the desire is the promise of the future. The desire is the summoning of life.

Although many of you do not understand what you’re saying when you say it, you say “Ask, and it is given.” The asking occurs through the desire that is born within you. When contrast helps you conclude a new decision or desire, that desire is a vibrational summoning of Energy.

The desire is the asking. The Life Force that comes in response to the desire is the answering to that asking.

“What am I doing with my vibrational countenance in the moment of desire summoning through me? Am I allowing the Life Force to flow through me in a non-resisted way, or am I pinching it off?” You can tell by the way you feel: If you feel good, it means you’re allowing it. If you feel not so good, it means, to the degree that you do not feel good, you’re not allowing it. Severe depression means really not letting it flow. While passion means really letting it flow.

Whether you feel passion or strong rage, both of those emotions mean there is strong, strong, strong summoning of desire. If it feels good, you’re letting it flow, but if it feels bad, you are not.

There is another part of you, your non-physical inner being. And that other part of you, that God force within you, adores that which you are. And the sooner you get to that *self adoration*, the sooner that you will allow the Energy that is really you to flow.

Abraham-Hicks: The only thing holding you back is the lack you feel when you don't appreciate yourself

Almost all of you, right from the beginning, relative to self, were taught that you are inappropriate beings, here to prove worthiness to something that moves around so much you can't even really figure out what the rules are -- because everybody has a different interpretation of what's right and what's wrong. So, we could put it very simply: The only thing that has been getting in your way, the only thing that has been holding you up, the only thing that has been troubling any of you, is one thing: you have not been appreciating you. You've been looking at you, seeing lack and vibrationally closing down the Energy that allows you to get what you want. That has been it.

Can a person who doesn't appreciate self suddenly start appreciating self? We don't think so. We see, every time you try, you fall back into these same old ruts. Every time you try to get outside of yourself to look at yourself, what you see is the same thing you've sort of trained yourself to see. That's why you've said and you have heard others say, "I can't see myself as others see me."

Well, you do see yourself as some others see you. In other words, everybody sees you a little differently depending on where they're vibrating. A connected one thinks you're magnificent. A not connected one doesn't think you're so magnificent -- but it doesn't have anything to do with you. It has to do with where they're vibrating as they are perceiving you.

So here is a process. Some say it is a trick that works. It's not a trick. It's a utilization of the Laws of the Universe. Remember that your goal is to find an object of attention that makes you feel good while you find it. Well, some objects are easier than others, aren't they? Esther looks at her little cat, and she cannot feel other than appreciation for this pure positive Energy beast. You look at someone misbehaving, and it's less easy to find appreciation. So what you are wanting to do is look for objects of attention to which you can flow an Energy of appreciation. Now, here's the reason that this is sneaky. By choosing an object of attention that causes pure positive Energy to flow through you, guess what happens to the vessel through which the pure positive Energy is flowing? You thrive. When you try to look back at yourself most of you shut down, because you already have negative thoughts about self that are hard for you to overcome. So what we would encourage you to do, for about 30 days, is get your eye off of you and get yourself on a blitz of appreciation. Make a decision that you are going to do as much appreciating in any day as you have physical time and Energy to do.

Abraham-Hicks Workshop

So the big question is, "Well, do I just dump all those unwanted things and try to start fresh?" And we say, no. You just set the Tone, where you are, by looking for things to appreciate. And by setting your Tone in a very clear deliberate way, anything that doesn't match it gravitates out of your experience, and anything that does match it gravitates into your experience. It is so much simpler than most of you are allowing yourself to believe.

Abraham-Hicks, Boston, MA, October 4, 1997

The basis of your life is absolute freedom, the goal is joy, and the result of that perfect combination is motion forward, or growth. Your goal is to find objects of attention that let your cork raise.

Abraham-Hicks, Virginia Beach, VA, April 12, 1997

Are you understanding that appreciation and self-love is the most important tool that you could ever nurture, that the appreciation of others and the appreciation of yourself is the closest vibrational match to your Source energy of anything that we have ever witnessed? When you are appreciating or when you are loving or when you are acknowledging the value of something, you are in that moment a vibrational match to the Source that is truly you.

Do not worry about where you are at any point in time. Don't take score and beat up on yourself. Just make a decision that from right here where I stand I'm going to reach for the thought that feels the very best of anything I have access to, and understand that your Inner Being is adoring you, always….
