Welcoming the Summer Solstice

Trilithons Silhouette by NickFitz

Instead of the ancient rituals honoring the summer solstice, today we often welcome summer more playfully: strawberry shortcake, picnics, and swimming at a lake or beach.

Summer is about bounty. Richness. Abundance. Play. Fun. Yesterday I was fussing about something that "might" happen four months from now. I realized it really is better for me to just take it one day at a time. The Universe handles the details, it's just up to me to enjoy this eternal moment. I would like to honor the summer solstice and offer you some treats to enjoy this day.

From Abraham we have a reminder to have fun:

"So, why am I who I am, and why am I born to who I am born to, and why is it set up the way it is set up?" We say, "For the fun of it. For the joy of it..."

Abraham-Hicks, Tarrytown, NY, October 17, 1998

You are joy, looking for a way to express. It's not just that your purpose is joy, it is that you are joy. You are love and joy and freedom and clarity expressing. Energy---frolicking and eager---that's who you are. And so, if you're always reaching for alignment with that, you're always on your path, and your path will take you into all kinds of places. We will not deny that you will not discover miracles and create benefits and be involved in creation, and that you will not uplift humanity and we will not say that you will not find satisfaction in so many things that you create, but we can't get away from the acknowledgment that you are Pure Positive Energy that translates into the human emotion of joy.

To me, every season is about my love of nature and all the wild things that live there. I offer you two travelers who share their appreciation and love for the woods and rivers of this beautiful world we live in.

Beyond the Fields We Know - These are the wandering journeys of a thoughtful mind, a passionate eye, a fey wit and an earth loving heart through the landscape with camera in hand. ~ Cate Kerr

Kayak Paddle Tales - Peggy photographs the birds, alligators, otters and other critters of the Wacissa River in Southern Florida from her kayak. Her photographs are outstanding and she shares her knowledge and discoveries of this beautiful water world.

And the last treats nourish our spirits:

Perelandra - Products and information about health and Well-Being in cooperation with nature. They are having a special virtual online open-house of their Virginia gardens on Saturday, June 27st, from noon to 5 PM EST.

Powerful Intentions - This site has come to me several times. I've looked at it and found it attractive, but have never actually participated. Today I asked spirit what would be good to add to my post and my search terms led me right to Powerful Intentions. I feel ready for them now and I offer them to you. This is a loving global community of like-minded souls who are manifesting their intentions using the Law of Attraction.

It's time to know it's a sure thing. It's time to have fun. It's just plain time!

All Is Well.

Suzanne,

I hear ya on taking things one day at a time. I've started doing that and it amazes me how the Universe just lines everything up. The process can be so easy if we let it. Seems like the more we stay in a good feeling place the better it gets. I love Abraham!

p.s. Thank you so much for your kind words on my blog. I always love hearing your comments because they are so thoughtful and inspiring. You are much appreciated!

Hi Lori,

When I read your blog I have the feeling you have deliberate creating working very well. I know -- there is always more we can learn -- but you radiate empowered energy. It's always nice to bask in the good energy of other creators. :)

Thanks for the kind words and the visit!
